Ok thanks justron as you can see I don't need ur cordnits sschoedel helped me with that
And where do you want me to make the farm just put a sign where and ill start if you can it would be helpful if I could have dirt 4 stacks will make a nice farm that is small and efficient
Also do u want the farm to be automatic???

Um idk

I was thinking

32/4, water 32/8,water, 32/4

That would be 8 stacks of dirt and you could make 3ish stacks of bread

Here r a few questions that will help us find a good size

1) how many people r u feeding
2) how often will u harvest
3) what r u going to use the wheat for
4) what is the maximum space this can take up (ex: 100/100)
5) how much spare wheat do u want

Please answer these questions and ill give u some sizes

Well a few of my dezines would work. You could make them as long as you want but 4 wide is as far as water will spread. Um melons you can plant on the outside (the blocks farthest form the water) so the melon would grow 5 blocks from water. Um I'll post if I can find an even better dezine. Ok thanks for telling me I will need sone dirt though and a good building spots

Ok gr8 I have made a few calculations on some of the farms. The water for the farm will be in rows of two by how ever long u tell me to make it. Please take a look at the sizes below

The sizes are l/w and on one size of the length will be water remover the water will be two blocks wide and on the other size will be a second farm.

8/4 this is the smallest farm and ill get you 80ish wheat

16/4 160ish wheat

32/4 314ish wheat

64/4 639ish wheat

The amount of wheat is from both sides of the water harvested

I would suggest using these numbers keep the stacks even when building and harvesting

The calculation I used to find the the amount of wheat each farm would get
[(LW)2]1.25 In other words length times width times two times one point two five.
The one point two five is the amount of wheat from each crop you break this may not be the exact number though but in each equation it worked exactly

Ill try to get back to you on a few more calculations and if you have any ideas please let me know and I'll tell you about the amount of wheat you will get and some other things
