The Political Compass

Being the political enthusiast that I am, I found a very cool test that determines where you stand politically, and this test is common on many forums, which is actually where I found it. I consistently score in the authoritarian left box, at the midpoint between Gandhi and Hitler :P

Here's the link for anyone who wants to try: http://www.politicalcompass.org/test

Warning: Some of the questions near the end border on PG-13-ish, so don't take the test if you think it is not appropriate for you.

Also, I would like to know where everyone else stands on this. From what I have seen, most people tend to score in the Libertarian left box. And please don't turn this topic into a fight :)

Kinda expected my results, I'm quite keen and active in Political issues, too. Left-Wing, Centre-Communism with mixed views on various things dividing the Authoritarian (Ultimately Fascism) & Libertarian (Ultimately Communism)

I'm further south and to the left than bloody Ghandi!!!

I consider myself in Canadian terms, an "Economic Conservative". (I DO NOT WANT my Govt spending money on useless social programs, but I do recognize some social programs are needed *aka healthcare*) and a "Social Libera"l. (I DO NOT WANT my Govt infringing on my percieved individual rights, though I do recognize I live in a society and therefore have to make certain sacrifices to live in society) That is the most basic I can make my personal perceived political spectrum...

Whats really weird, was as a moderator, most of my actions tended to be authoritarian... and I'd punish both parties in a conflict....
