Nice pic.

Sadly i don't get around to just go about taking photo's lately.
This is a panorama i took of San Fransisco when i was there last year.

I scaled it down a bit for the interwebs but the original is about 14000 x 2700 px :P

Really nice panorama - I can't see any stitch marks what so ever!

Here's one of my photo's from my trip to CA this year. Not very artistic, but I thought the scenery was great. (Also scaled down from the original, which was something like 4000x3000px.)

I would love to go into photography but i just cant afford a professional camera. Do you guys know one that is cheap, but decent enough to take good pictures?

Nice road into nowhere :P
Love the bright blue sky as contrast to the brownish dry grass.

I see now that my panorama is cut half way by the forum window.
Rightclick on it and view the image on its own., then the full length can be seen :D

It was shot with a canon EOS 450D with the standard 18-55mm lens.
I made it with 7 photo's and shoved them into AutopanoPro to stitch them all together.
Then edited it into photoshop to remove lines/blur/other crap.

@bossman1113 well nowadays compact camera's are really getting good.
So the need for a dslr is not that big anymore for beginning photographers.
Haven't looked at what is available lately so I can't recommend one.

Here my new pic of the day :P
I love the US and its nature. We went hiking at the Grand Teton.
Stopping for lunch here is a friend of mine sitting on a fallen tree.

Nice to know how you made the panorama. :) Might try it myself sometime.

And bossman, try looking into "Bridge" cameras, often called "Super zoom". They have long zoom range, as well as a large lens to collect maximum light - Some will also accept filters. And best of all, they are cheaper than DSLR's.

Almost all bridge cameras have a full manual mode, which allows you to control all the settings and take artistic shots, like the light trails photo at the top of this thread.

Although saying that, you don't need an expensive Bridge or DSLR camera to take good photos - My second photo in this thread was taken with my Panasonic Waterproof compact!

I can't really say that I'm a photographer...

Anyways, enjoy this poor quality picture I took with my mobile phone, from the top of the mountain Schauinsland, in southern Germany, where I currently reside. I just love the view in this picture...

Great view and picture, 0mgrzx! Some people say that Windmills/turbines are an eyesore - But I actually really like them.

McCoy, that's an awesome action shot of your RC truck! Everything in focus, apart from the spinning wheels, which gives a great impression of speed. Love it! I assume it was taken with a DSLR?
