Not sure if real or not but why take the risk?

Basically some Malware thing that will cause thousands of PC users to lose internet

Yeah, "definitely" me.

As an extra warning i believe this is built for WINDOWS. So unix based systems should be quite safe. Still whoever you are just remember to check your anti-virus.

Im a linux boy but i do prefer windows unleas your hosting a server which.you could jydt get windows home aerfer.2007 standard for and it wiuld work amazingly :/
