Button on Dispensers. Good/Bad Idea?

The other day, I was making a cafeteria for a boarding house in a snowy biome. I used dispensers to hold the grub, but one thing that always irked me about dispensers, was that we could not place buttons directly on the dispensers, and now we cannot place item frames on the dispensers themselves, indicating what food it has inside.
The problem, as many of you don't know, is when you right click to place something, it opens up the interface. I think it would be a great idea if Zerg implemented an option to place things (like private signs on crafting tables) directly on chests and dispensers. Something along the lines like /place, then you left click to simulate a right click. Who thinks this a good idea?
