Here is something i thought of today:

As we all know, we have a feature of nicknaming players on this server. an idea i have though of, (actually two) is that we could use the nicknamed player's nickname, and use that in our plugins. Fore example, I for one am pyrusbrawler30, nicknamed Pyrus. In this idea, instead of having the plugins regarding me as pyrusbrawler30, (on locks and the like) i could simply use Pyrus.

Also zerg, i have seen you change your name from time to time. not just a nickname, but your player tag up above your head. Perhaps we could find a way to sync this with the players nickname?

Just a couple ideas....

If you were to use Pyrus on a locked chest meaning you, the actual minecraft.net user 'Pyrus' could also access your chest. Which would be very bad.

nonononono, i'm saying have it still synced to my account, just using the nickname plugin. (if that makes sense)

Ooooooh. I get it. Yeah, maybe it could work. It may be a bit hard to code though.

But how will that work for me? In chat I am Zuko, on chests, I'm zuko135 and BravoKingBravo. And when looking at me, I am BravoKingBravo. So any chests with zuko135 and/or BravoKingBravo I can open.

Based on this idea, your nickname is zuko, no? So, on your chests you could simply use zuko.

Ahh... Ok I get it.

I have actually seen other servers that just make your chat nickname the one you want and you can private your chest with your regular name.

ah... yeah, that's what we have here..... i'm saying use the nickname on chests etc.
