Is it just me or is the survival server unplayable because of lag?

When ever I log on all I see is a black screen then I get disconnected. Every other game I play works fine online. I've also tried deleting minecraft and re-downloading it.

I've been experiencing a little bit of chat lag every now and then, but nothing as bad as you are describing. What is your ping to the server?

90ms to 200 ms

Every single time I try to log onto survival I always end up in a world hole, then lag out. I just wanted to let somebody know :3 I don't think its client side because other people have reported the same issue. I don't know if it has to do with transfer of hardware or what :3

I have the same problem in survival now.
Creative and all the other servers work fine but survival map wont load, chat laggs as hell and i get dc in about a minute.

That's really odd.. Do you both happen to live in the same area?

We recently swapped hardware.. Although the new hardware is better than the old, so I'm not sure what the cause is. Maybe Zerg knows..?

I also have the same problem, and its getting annoying!

We don't live in the same area so that can't be it. Also, maybe a reboot will help?

Reboot didn't help before :p
