INFO ON MOB TOWERS

There is a very likely chance that current mob towers are going to fail miserably because of a change that was released in the weekly snapsnot 12w04a, which more than likely will be released in 1.2. The link is located here: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Upcoming_features

Here is the line on the page that disturbs me, it is highlighted with a red box:

I recommend if your mob tower uses signs, fence gates, or paintings to make mobs fall, you might want to reconsider it and switch to one that works automatically pistons.

In 1.1 fencegate can be powered by redstone and if left unpowered it will randomly close.

Cruiserman, we are in 1.1...they do not do that...

Also, I have a basic design that uses 1 sticky piston, 2 redstone torches, 1 pressure plates, and 3 cobblestone blocks, to make a simple design where the mob will spawn on the pressure plate, activating the sticky piston, and pushing the mob off.

That's not your design btw, that's the standard design. Just saying. Also, there ARE other ways, other than using nonsolid blocks.
