I dont quite understand it... Like... Do people have to pay for the [private] sign too? or is it just the [trade] signs that are being charged... My original understanding was you had to pay for the sign for the shop... plus the 4 "dims" for the shop.
Also... why cant a limit be set on how many chests a person can have... Being that chests can be stacked now, what stops a rich player from stacking chests with 6 signs on each? Not sure dimensions of the lots... but say the wall is 8x10, thats like 3 stacks 8 high or 24 chests, times 6 signs each, or 144 signs. Math may be off a bit cause i dont know the actually wall dimensions... but I mean 144 signs! how much lag would that cause! All because the player can afford it.
Really not clearly defined. I like the old way that merirox had or zerg or whoever owned the 1.7 shops. I may be over thinking it, but I think the old way with a limit of trade signs would be better. Or at the least, SirDukem's Idea of Raising sign price and dropping shop price... Which will make the mall not look so abandoned and empty, cause people may be able to afford it. (i suggest gold, iron and redstone. For minetracks, should the extended map need roads extended)
Anyways... back to sleep. ZzZzZzzzz...
