How does one protect shulkers ? placing them near protected chests/hoppers etc doesn't seem to work.

Zerg made this thread when we first updated to 1.12
Unfortunately, what would happen was a privated shulker box would lose all it's items when it was broke/picked up again, so zerg had to remove shulker boxes as a privateable container.
Currently there is no way to private/protect a shulker box, other than remember to pick it/them up and put in a regular privated container
PS: on a side note, filled shulker boxes being sold on webtrade will lose the items in them when they are transferred from seller to buyer. Also, duration 2 and 3 fireworks will become duration 1 when transferred from seller to buyer.
