Coded, you really shouldn't be posting in here unless you were directly related to the incident. Won't be a ban, but keep that in mind in the future, alright?

As for why the End is claimed, well, there's a handful of buildings at the entrance, to make it look pretty. If people could just go in and take out a chunk of endstone (which does happen if not for anti-grief) then it would just be a huge mess as soon as you walk into the End.
Gathering endstone can be done in the /mine world's end dimension, where nothing structurally significant will be ruined.
