New map plans

Every so often we have a map cleaning day, where people can go around the map and suggest houses and pillars made by old, retired players to be torn down and made into unclaimed land again?

Obviously we can't tear down buildings of those who are active, but I feel as if alot of those 'shacks' are owned by people who played and left awhile ago. If they choose to come back 3 or 4 months later, they'll just have to build over again.

Just a thought, lemme know what you guys think.

I would love to see this implemented! Even way out in the boonies where my house is, there are plenty of old, half-built places that need to just go away  Certainly there should be a minimum of 3-6 months of inactivity for completed buildings, but maybe only 2-3 months for random blocks that aren't really serving a purpose?

Agree. The shacks that are inactive around the server are a problem. The map would be much cleaner if this was made :D

We could also clean up some of the roads on those clean up days. I really like this idea.

I'm going to un-private all my doors, chests and the like, and visit my old house once in a while to re-stock the cakes and food chests, as long as the farms remain viable. I think it will be interesting to see how long it lasts before the greifers get the better of it :P But for now, at least, it's New World Ho! for me :D
