Moar Forum Stuff: Background

So people have said that they didn't find the background perfect, so I started messing with it. I have semi-decided that a shade of green will look good, so as to go with the banner.

Is it better than the current background? Worse? Improvements?

I love! Though it still feels dull to me , kind of wish for more of "something" idk.. but it's amazing and better. Wish i could do as good as you. XD

Well, I had considered having some sort of fancy render, similar to the banners background, but less "busy".. The only issue with this, is that it would require a huge image, which would add huge page load times.

Worse. It just looks eew... It's too much texture for such a small pixel pattern.

It looks better. It's not a lot of contrasting pixels packed into such a tight space. But the wool is still a really rough texture. It feels like sandpaper on my eyes.

Zerg wanted me to try blue. So here is blue.

After messing around with a lot of colours, and with the input of Zerg, this was created: New background image.

I like the dark blue, since it's my favorite color. :3
I also just like the color of it, but I'd rather any of the blue, I don't like the greens at all. :S Makes me think of puke. >_>

Looks good. Dark blue (I think that's what it is? O.o) draws less attention away from the center of the page. It seems like our current background is a little cluttered and distracting. This one should be much easier on the eyes.
