Profanity Filter/banning

Before i get a silly response i undestand completely the need for a profanity filter
but being banned for one slip of the tongue? not cool man

seriously the issue is swearing etc just keep the filter, i hit 100 hours about an hour ago and swore and got a 2 hour ban, its ridiculous just bleep the word out let people express themselves but filter it for others or just don't post it in the chat if it has a swear in it have a notification that says it wasn't posted to chat and then don't make it,

eg i swear nobody else sees it and i get a notification not a ban

there has to be a new system especially for people like me who grew up in a school where every second word was a swear or profane word, please address this someone,

Mods are supposed to give a warning/kick first time... do you have any previous bans or warnings for profanity? were you banned by Wall-E or regular moderator?

Honest mistakes do happen, although your bans appear to of been by Wall-E who is a bot and It does not recognize accidents. If a mod is on and happens to see it perhaps they can unban you (If they see it).

I do agree it is ridiculous at times, numerous times when the servers plugin reload donors+ who talk in the donor chat get put in global and swear and get banned... honest mistake. But at the same time, there are kids on the server who we have these rules in place for. There are several parents on the server that I'm sure like our semi-strict chat policies. While it is annoying, Your best option is to donate and swear to your hearts desire on the donor chat (not literally, gets annoying at times when urban dictionary gets recited in donor.. lol) or watch your mouth.

Could also join teamspeak and get your friends to join too, and use the NSFW channels to mildly swear in, at the least you can led a mod on there know when you been banned by accident...

We are not monsters, we understand the occasional slip of tongue.


And cause I like metaphors... Consider a person enlisted in military that comes back from war? Should we let them ruthlessly kill who ever they want with no consequences just cause they are used to it? No, we have laws that would prevent them from getting away with it... (sorta off topic, But i sooo wanna see "The Purge" when it comes out...)
