Like, it's placed down(the sponge) and after sucking up whatever amount of water, it stops and doesn't care if there is anymore water. Like this, there wouldn't be any constant checking because it does it's job once and then goes to sleep.
(not trying to put any pressure on you, the coder, to make this. Just think it could be a decent compromise.)
That was actually a very good idea
Just make the block disappear after the remove water event has taken place. I guess you can't just cancel the place event either, cause' then the sponge event doesnt know when to execute. You'll figure it out if we give it a go
