Neko, I get on aroun midnight this week (EST) and find absolutely no mods on. And I'm hoping that w will get some mods or SOME (I said some) vets get a few mod powers to deal with troublemakers on the server.

As for sonic being mod, yes, because I've seen him help numerous people, even when he was a resident. One time we were building and a new person came online asking many questions and needed lots of help. I tried to guide him through chat. Sonic completely stopped what he was doing and signed on to creative to help guide the new guy. I've only seen mods do this, and a very few selection of vets.

It seems that there are barely any mods on now at all. So now we start to rely on auto-ban, which has holes in it. I got on just this morning and spawn was griefed AGAIN!

Eh i think that sonic is a good candidate but we should promote a chat mod with some more experience with banning and such. I would say promote sonic to chat mod and then when he is ready and the mods can decide if he deserves a promotion or not.

I think that snakejay should be a mod, sonic is good, but he hasnt been vet for that long, snake has been vet longer than italia (i think) and I think he should at least be cmod

Your reason being? Time means nothing. Sure, it helps. But, in the long run. Doesn't mean much.

The first post appears to equate to:

Sonic for mod, because he helped me and now we are friends.
..which is essentially why we shouldnt have mod votes. Everyone has friends.

I see no reason for sonic Not to be mod, but then.. i could say that about a third of the server.

Applications reviewed by the current admin/mods perhaps, but not popularity votes.

Harsh, by my first point, I was intending to say, he's helpful, a moderator NEEDS to be helpful, he helps other people too.
