Changing the requirements for veterancy?

Change em'?

My ideas:
- Veterans are people who are generally well-known..
- ...and active (top 10-50 most active users for the last month)
- ...who vote on minestatus..
- Let the entire community vote on a certain number (What number?) of people to promote to veteran per month.

I think only vtns + should be allowed to bring in a canidate, and they require 10 votes to become a vtn.

I think most of us can agree on most of the requirements.

I also think maybe 3-6 veterans per 1-2 months.

^ this extremely. There are WAY too many vtns. It makes the rank seem like it's easy to get.

Well; I was thinking the same thing. But comparing it to the old requirements, there were probably 6-9 (estimation) new veterans in less the a month.

Also, Looking at it now. 6 veterans in 2 months might be a little overboard. In that rate everyone rsd^(and above) would become a vet. Maybe 1-2 veterans per 2 months or even 2 new veterans, for every 3 months ? This is really coming of my mind, just trying to find a equal rate so Kreatious doesn't become polluted with tons of vets.

They NEED to have played for at least like, 4-5 months. I mean, if someone plays for one month and votes, plays a bit too much etc, they are passing your rules listed above, although they have only played for a month. I'd say 2 a month, as 6 a month will be 72 a year, and with about half of them leaving, will still be 36 ( a lot).

Yeah, that would be WAY to much Vtns... Like what Mattchu said, people will think it's easy to get... I think the new changes are good.
Also, maybe they need to have a good record? No excessive bans?

That would involve having to demote a lot of the vtns...

Well if they have excessive bans how did they get promoted in the first place? Aren't they supposed to be role models...? Role models shouldn't be banned... Right?

I agree with mattchuu, i still think staff or vtn+ should discuss whoever to promote/demote
