Svaalbard (New Continent)

I'm planning to make a city called Svaalbard. It will be a nordic-style city, and the capital of Stormasätt (The island where the city will be placed). Now, I need workers and supplies. Anybody who would like to volunteer is welcome, and everybody will have big plots. Remember, no sandstone/dirt buildings. Makes the city look ugly. And give your houses a nordic look, k?
So, hope I can find some volunteers for this!
