So as most of you know, or should by now, I recently received a date for Basic Military Training. As of May 1st, I will be gone for a lengthy period of time. Immediately after that, I'll go directly into tech school, and then will be spending 60 days working on base in my unit. In all, this means I may be gone for as long as eight months, settling back into regular routine around January of 2014.
What this means, obviously, is that throughout this month, you'll likely be seeing less of me, as I attempt to wean myself off of my technology dependency. I don't want to have too much of a culture shock when I arrive to training, and realize I don't know what to do with my off-time.
Now, don't get me wrong. I most definitely intend to return after this inactivity. By no means is this a candied-up excuse for me leaving forever. And as May draws closer, I will post another topic in here for more serious goodbyes. For now, this is just a heads up for things to come, and an explanation for why you may not be seeing me quite as often as normal.
Anyway, cheers everyone, and here's some CCR.
