I play Minecraft because it is an easy game to hop in and out of. I don't watch TV. I don't follow sports. But I do enjoy backpacking and camping (primarily with a local Boy Scout Troop that I am a volunteer with).
My Minecraft style is build it big, build it bigger, how much bigger can I possibly make it? The previous server I was on, is no longer in existence. My main fort there was massive (an estimate of the number of blocks that had to be cleared was 3.5 million). I hope to have similar scaled projects on this server. (my underwater city/base is starting out fine so far)
I am probably older than most everyone on the server.
I was a Sonar Technician on a Submarine in the US Navy (a nuclear powered fast attack submarine, SSN685)
I worked in a subset of the security industry. I used to fix all sorts of security related devices.

I have been programming in one form or another for the past 32 years.
I have been paid to program for the last 13 years (finally!!)
I have 2 kids, 2 grandkids and a wife of 28 years.
I am pleased with the level of moderation (I really hate cussing. In my opinion: if you can't communicate with someone without cussing, it is a sign of low intelligence.)
I hope to get to know everyone better.
