Absolutely unbearable lag, did I mess up my minecraft?

Since June (and for Justron, since May) I have been experiencing terrible lag that causes me to time out within a few seconds like 4 out of every 5 times I log in. I don't think it's my internet connection, every other webpage loads fine, it's just on kreatious. It's the same everywhere in my house, and even at other houses. I recently (like 2 weeks ago) changed internet providers and it's still the same. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there some setting that I need to change? What's wrong? This is getting really frustrating.

I had the same problem a few weeks ago. Ironically, when I made a post about it, it stopped.
