Now, implementing /nether mine is not such a bad idea, yet it's more useful for non-vanilla servers.

I understand that, but if the only reason is putting in some time to make things work smoother, than shouldn't that be something explored? Unless being lazy is really an excuse? Also sure carrying things around isn't that big of deal, but obtaining them can be equally a pain sometimes as well. (Not trying to sound offensive, please don't take it that way.)

Thank you for clearing that up.

masy1 Wrote:In regards to my post, I was too lazy to explain things to you because I know that you're one of the people who whatever anyone else says, will stand by your point even if you are incorrect. Also, you only have to light the portal again. You don't have to rebuild it.

Personally, that is a very ignorant assumption. Being that I am not a child, I can admit when I am wrong, I also know when I am trying to help a people. It seems like you would rather players put their head in the sand and stay blind to the issue instead of trying to help those who run the server come up with ideas. The people who make the server possible are the players regardless of what you think.. if any of them are trying to help, consider being more rational about your assumptions instead of crude with your words.

I understand now, that the portals aren't the issue, if there is anything you think I can help with, please feel free to let me know.

Ignorant assumption may be what you have just done yourself.

Yes, I may have misjudged you I admit, but you also had countless people giving legitimate reasons as to why it would be a bad idea. Also, you took that paragraph out of context. Read the paragraph above it where I do explain things to you, because I know that I was wrong. Now, I understand that players make the server run. I am a player myself. I do know, however, that quite a few people such as myself do not like it when a new player comes and criticizes the entire situation without knowing the whole story. It starts huge useless argument threads like this, or random arguments in-game which I know that nobody enjoys reading. I admit that I was wrong, but I still don't see you realizing that you were wrong too. I'm going to stop posting in this thread, so be free to degrade me if you so wish.
