July 20th, Apollo 11 mission astronauts, Neil A. Armstrong, Michael Collins, and Edwin "Buzz" E. Aldrin jr., orbit the Moon and prepare for the first manned landing.
July 20th (20:17 UTC), Astronauts Armstrong and Aldrin, land the lunar module "Eagle" at Sea of Tranquility, Moon; Astronaut Collins remained in orbit aboard command module "Columbia".
July 21st (02:56 UTC) Astronaut Neil Armstrong becomes the first human to walk on the Moon.
