Unbanning lots of players..?

How about keeping them all banned until they submit an appeal. Would keep those only interested in a quick casual grief away, while giving those that genuinely want to play another chance.

I dunno about this zerg. I know you don't like perm bans and all but they were banned for a reason. (most of the time for good reasons too)
Maybe let those who want to come back post an appeal and try to determine if they just did a stupid thing or that they are just a *ahum*hole trying to wreck the playing fun of others.

Because of how much work it would take to sift through the past months bans I guess im for clean slate

1. Most of the banned players i doubt remember us
2. people who do obviously care, and i they're griefers they'll get banned anyway.
3. Not all players were banned fairly...

Our new system has improved a lot, and I think that it would be great to unban those who were banned in previous survival. It would give them a second chance on our second-second-chance server. Haha.

But i think those who were part of grief teams should NOT be unbanned. They committed a sort-of hate crime against the server by griefing or just causing trouble, and they should stay banned.

I didn't wanna sift through the thousands of bans (not kidding) when I got survival up and running..

..so I just unbanned everyone.



Griefing teams'll just have to learn to live with Eve =)
