STOP INTERNET CENSORSHIP—TWO BILLS IN CONGRESS UNDERMINE THE PRINCIPLES OF THE WEB
American Censorship Day: November 16, 2011
On November 16th, the "Stop Online Piracy Act" will be heard in Congress. This legislation, in addition to the Senate's "Protect IP Act," completely undermine and fundamentally change the core principles of the Web. They have the potential to radically alter or shut down sites like YouTube, Flickr, others, and all new companies that follow.
See americancensorship.org for more and help us stop these bills from becoming law.

I don't even live in the US, but sent the petition letter anyway. This goes against what the US was founded upon (Freedom, Freedom of speech.), and is ridiculous.

It's like banning driving because a small percentage of drivers cause crashes..

This is horrible, the gaming community will change, and the overall internet will change dramatically. Imagine watching your child being taken away because he/she made a video of him/her dancing to a Ke$ha song.

Ehh, I'm aussie, and there will ALWAYS be 4chan. Nobody's gonna shut that down, or try to sue it. Anon will get PISSSSSED. And I'd like to see Anon hack all of the USA's mainframe, it'll be amusing.

Why would they have a bill like that? The internet will change forever epically YouTube newgrounds and Facebook. Everything will be ruined and everyone will be back to being boring.

So i vote NO!
