Ads on the forum.

As we all know, we need money to run the server (and lots of it!).

We have been struggling with donations a bit this month, so we need new methods to generate income. After reading Bonds' thread, and seeing images of his adsense income, I think putting Google Ad-Sense adverts on the forum is a viable way of generating more money to run the servers.

What are your opinions? Obviously adverts can sometimes be mildly annoying, however it's better than having no server.

It look much better without them, but if we don't get enough donations, I think it's the only way to do it. Also if you don't look at them they won't disturb you

If they are really that bad for you. Then, just use adblock.

I think we can all live with ads. Just as long as they don't get in the way of the actual forum, and are family-friendly. To be honest, I don't understand why we don't already have ads. It's just an easy way to make money for the server.

By all means, let there be ads! XD
