I would add:

Vertical half-blocks,
Some sort of valve block like a lever(stops liquid),
Planes,
ATVs because cars are impossible,
Horses, squirrels + dugongs(narwhals),
Fireplace spits for cooking meat(its really weird in a furnace),
Logs mod(makes trees fall when bottom block is cut out)
Fruit trees
copper(and copper wire), ruby, emerald, tin(mix with copper to make bronze), all the machinery from industrialcraft, oil,
Creeper eggs(you can hatch and have a tame creeper),
round sun and moon,
different types of bow(found in ancient ruins, i.e. a testificate bow with some sort of calming power[makes mobs disregard you])
even though it was mentioned above, fish that you can see + coral reefs
